I’ve recently rediscovered the joy of doing color tests (which should not be a revelation, but I guess after doing production for awhile I kind of forgot the importance of it) and these tests are so inspiring! It’s giving me lots of ideas for when fall comes
Same here, I was all busy with production but sampling is actually such a refreshment now, and the ideas just flood my brain after a short session like that
I have read out many articles related to eco-printing. But yours is the most detailed and practical tutorial for the thing. Thank you so much and go ahead ania!
Hi Ania, I have done some botanical printing...one process that I like is so use mordanted fabric with iron soak for leaves then wrap/bundle with a piece of paper...so fabric...leaves...paper...then bundle, tying tightly. No plastic. Then rather than steaming, put in a natural dyebath for and hour or two. You will get interesting results on both the paper and the fabric! Thanks for your post, Wendy
Bonjour Ania, mes lectures ont un peu de retard sur les parutions mais avec cette belle nature et tes bons conseils, je vais faire des expérimentations directement a partir du champs, de la foret ou du jardin. merci
